Santa Cruz, Eastern Solomon Islands.

This is a beautiful 19th Century “Napa” club, with elegant shape,  abstract faces and fine painted designs, subdued but intact. These clubs are traditionally attributed to Ndende island but are in fact found across the Santa Cruz island group in eastern Solomon Islands.
